Once you set up either Standard or Professional Quality Automated Fulfilment the products that you enable will immediately become available for your clients to purchase - This applies to bookings that already exist.
When one of your clients successfully places an order that contains Automated Fulfilment products, there is two things that could happen.
Option One
If the order only contains Automated Fulfilment products, the order will be created and the order information sent to our printing partners. You will be able to track the progress of the order within your Dashboard.
Option Two
If the order contains Automated Fulfilment products and Self Fulfilment products, the Shipping Costs for both types of products will be combined. You will be able to track the progress of the order within your Dashboard.
This order will show two separate deliveries. The deliveries for Self Fulfilment will need to be managed by yourself (If you ship your Self Fulfilment part of the order as more than one delivery, you can add additional deliveries).
Calculating Shipping Costs
The order system calculates the Shipping Costs for Automated Fulfilment orders on a flat-rate cost depending on the types of products orders.
Example
Shipping Service | Cost | Shipping Band |
---|---|---|
2nd Class Royal Mail | £2.10 | Prints |
2nd Class Royal Mail | £3.10 | LargePrints |
2nd Class Royal Mail | £7.20 | Canvas |
If your client orders 50 Prints and 5 Canvas, the shipping cost for this order will be £7.20
If you client orders 200 Prints, the shipping cost for this order will be £2.10
To Ensure Print Quality
To ensure the print quality of the products ordered, the images being used must meet the recommended resolution sizes (which can be reviewed within your Dashboard, under Products > Automated Fulfilment). You should upload images which meet or exceed these recommended resolution sizes.
The ordering system will automatically detect if the images meet the recommended resolution sizes. If the image does not, the product will not be able to be ordered.
Image Resizing
Some images may not fit the product being ordered exactly. There are 3 possible options that you may choose to decide how the image should be resized to fit the product.
Image Rotation
Our system will automatically try to rotate your images so that they need the least possible resizing to fit the photo size. For example, if a 10x15 print is being ordered, and the image is 4500px x 3000px , then we'll flip it round so it is 3000px x 4500px and thus fits the photo perfectly
